Rachel Caine starts by putting the reader on a crazy roller coaster ride of emotions and she never stops! Be prepared to do nothing once you start reading her heartbreaking tale. I found myself cheering for her and hoping she could get past all the tragic things she saw in her life. It took me almost until the end of the book to figure out who was obsessed with Gwen. Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. Now Gina has transformed herself into Gwen Proctor- a single mother who hangs out at the shooting range in her free time. ![]() That is until a fluke car accident outs her husband as an unbelievable monster. Gina Proctor is a nice, quiet person married with two kids, living a perfectly normal, mundane life. It came out in 2017 and I just read it in 2022?□Why the heck did I wait so long?
